An Abuja-based media professional and communication strategist, Israel Fagbemigun, has congratulated the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on his 44th birthday, commending his performance in office.
Fagbemigun, in a statement issued on Friday, described the minister’s tenure as one defined by purposeful leadership and measurable outcomes.
The Ikale-born perception manager noted that reforms introduced under Tunji-Ojo at the Ministry of Interior had yielded tangible results across key areas of national administration.
He cited the release of over 4,000 inmates through the payment of fines as evidence of what he termed a humane and practical approach to justice.
According to him, improvements in fire service response times and the promotion of more than 70,000 personnel within two years underscore a commitment to efficiency and staff motivation.
“These are not mere statistics; they represent real-life impact—families reunited, opportunities restored, and public servants re-energised,” he stated.
Fagbemigun further said the minister’s achievements align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, describing Tunji-Ojo as a key contributor to the administration’s reform drive.
He also highlighted the clearance of over 200,000 passport application backlogs, noting that the move had helped rebuild public confidence in the system.
“For many Nigerians, both at home and abroad, this sends a strong message that effective and integrity-driven leadership is achievable,” he added.
