APC Chieftain, Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa charges Faduyile to deliver immediate gains for Ondo South

An All Progressives Congress chieftain in Ondo State, Dr. Akinola Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa, has congratulated Prof. Dayo Faduyile on his election as the senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, urging him to begin work immediately on addressing the needs of the people.

In a statement issued on Monday, Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa described Faduyile’s victory as a reflection of the electorate’s confidence in his ability to provide effective representation and quality leadership.

He said the senator-elect should waste no time in translating campaign promises into concrete actions that would improve the living conditions of residents across the district.

According to him, public office comes with the responsibility of solving societal challenges and advancing the welfare of the people.

“I congratulate Prof. Dayo Faduyile on his well-earned victory. The people of Ondo South have placed their trust in him and expect results-driven representation,” he said.

Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa called on the incoming lawmaker to focus on critical areas such as infrastructure development, improved healthcare services, quality education, youth and women empowerment, as well as attracting federal projects to the district.

He noted that Ondo South possesses enormous human and natural resources but requires stronger legislative advocacy to unlock its development potential and secure greater benefits from the Federal Government.

The APC stalwart expressed confidence in Faduyile’s ability to make a difference, citing his experience in academia and public service.

He also urged traditional rulers, party leaders, youth organisations and community groups to support the senator-elect, adding that collective efforts would enhance his chances of delivering on the expectations of the people.
