The Aliyu Bin Abbas Organisation has formally presented the Action Democratic Party's presidential aspirant, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, to supporters in Kano ahead of the 2027 general election, expressing confidence that his candidature offers a credible alternative for Nigeria.
The unveiling, held on Wednesday at Bristol Palace Hotel in Kano, attracted political stakeholders, entertainers, youth and women groups, professionals and supporters from different parts of the country, according to a statement issued on Thursday by the aspirant's Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson.
The organisation said the event was aimed at introducing Bin Abbas to Nigerians while mobilising support for his presidential ambition under the ADP platform.
Speaking at the gathering, the National Convener of ABAO and renowned singer, producer and filmmaker, Malam Ali Jita, said his decision to establish the organisation was driven by his conviction that Nigeria requires visionary leadership to overcome its challenges.
He urged Nigerians to support Bin Abbas, whom he described as a leader capable of promoting unity, justice and national development.
The statement quoted the presidential aspirant as describing the unveiling as the beginning of a movement inspired by hope and a shared commitment to building a better Nigeria.
According to Bin Abbas, the turnout and enthusiasm displayed by supporters reflected the desire of many Nigerians for a prosperous and united nation.
He also commended Ali Jita for what he described as his courage and commitment to the campaign, noting that the entertainer's involvement had inspired many young Nigerians to believe that meaningful change was possible.
Bin Abbas expressed optimism that with the support of Nigerians and faith in God, the country could be transformed into a nation where justice, equal opportunities, peace and dignity are guaranteed for all citizens.
