Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reappointed Dr Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government, months after he resigned from the position to contest the All Progressives Congress senatorial primary for Ondo Central.
The Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, announced the appointment in a statement issued on Tuesday, saying it takes immediate effect.
Fasoranti had stepped down as SSG on March 30, 2026, to seek the APC ticket for the Ondo Central Senatorial District ahead of the forthcoming elections.
His return to the office marks a reinstatement to the position he previously occupied before his resignation.
According to the statement, the governor expressed confidence in Fasoranti's ability to contribute effectively to governance, citing his experience in public administration, policy development and government operations.
Aiyedatiwa congratulated the reappointed SSG and urged him to discharge his responsibilities with dedication, integrity and commitment in advancing the administration's Our Ease agenda.
