Nothing’ll stop APC from reclaiming Osun Government House — Yilwatda

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has expressed confidence that the party will win the August 15 governorship election in Osun State, declaring that nothing will prevent it from reclaiming the Government House.

Yilwatda spoke during the inauguration of the APC National Campaign Council for the Osun governorship poll, where he said the party had the structure, strength and support base required to emerge victorious.

He described the APC as the country's strongest political platform and said its members would work collectively to ensure the party's candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, wins the election.

According to him, the party will mobilise its governors, members of the National Assembly, local government chairmen and other stakeholders to drive its campaign across the state.

“Nothing will stop us from taking over the Government House this August,” Yilwatda declared.

The APC chairman said the Osun governorship election was crucial to the party's political roadmap ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing optimism that the party would secure victory at the polls.

He added that the party would intensify grassroots mobilisation across the state to attract more support from voters before election day.

Yilwatda urged party members to remain united and committed throughout the campaign, expressing confidence that the APC would return to power in Osun through what he described as a well-coordinated and people-driven campaign.
