The BTO4PBAT27 Support Group has appealed to aspirants, leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress to accept the outcomes of the party's primary elections and work together to ensure the party's victory in the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Thursday by its Director-General, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, the group urged party faithful to uphold the principles of party supremacy, discipline and unity, describing them as critical to the APC's electoral success.
The group noted that while political ambitions were legitimate, individual interests should not supersede the collective goals of the party.
It stressed that party primaries should be viewed as democratic contests among members of the same political family rather than battles that breed division.
The group urged aspirants who fail to secure the party's tickets to accept the outcome in good faith and support the eventual candidates, saying true leadership is demonstrated through commitment to party unity after the conclusion of internal contests.
It also called on supporters of various aspirants, youth and women groups, as well as other stakeholders, to refrain from actions or statements capable of creating disunity within the APC.
According to the group, unity remains the greatest strength of any political party, warning that internal divisions could undermine the APC's chances in the next general elections.
It expressed confidence that a united APC would be well-positioned to record victories in elective offices across the country in 2027.
The organisation further described the forthcoming elections as an opportunity to consolidate the achievements of President Bola Tinubu's administration under the Renewed Hope Agenda, citing ongoing reforms in the economy, infrastructure, security, youth development and institutional growth.
It therefore urged party members to mobilise support for Tinubu's re-election and for all APC candidates during the polls.
The group also advised those who eventually emerge as the party's candidates to immediately begin reconciliation efforts by engaging former opponents and other stakeholders to strengthen party cohesion ahead of the elections.
According to the statement, inclusive consultations and broad-based campaign structures would be essential to maximising the party's grassroots support.
Reaffirming its commitment to Tinubu's second-term bid, the BTO4PBAT27 Support Group said it would continue to promote peace, political stability, reconciliation and grassroots mobilisation in Ondo State and across the country.
The group urged APC members to place the party's collective interest above personal ambitions, saying unity and forgiveness remained indispensable to securing victory in the 2027 general elections.
