The All Progressives Congress candidate for Akoko South West Constituency II in the forthcoming Ondo State House of Assembly election, Hon. Niran Olanusi, has expressed appreciation to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, party leaders, members and constituents following the affirmation of his candidature.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Media Office, Olanusi described the development as a privilege and a renewed call to serve the people of the constituency with dedication and commitment.
He specifically thanked Governor Aiyedatiwa, APC leaders, party faithful and residents of Akoko South West Constituency II for their confidence and support, saying the affirmation reflected the trust reposed in him to represent the constituency.
According to him, the journey to securing the party's ticket was made possible through unity, sacrifice and the collective commitment of party members and supporters to the progress of Akoko South West.
Olanusi said his ambition was driven by the desire to provide purposeful representation, promote grassroots development and ensure that the interests of the people were effectively represented in the Ondo State House of Assembly.
The APC candidate pledged to pursue a people-oriented agenda focused on education and youth empowerment, healthcare and social welfare, infrastructure and rural development, as well as effective legislative representation.
He promised to champion initiatives that would create employment opportunities, expand access to scholarships, improve healthcare services, support road construction and markets, and sponsor legislation that would positively impact residents of the constituency.
Olanusi also assured constituents that he would remain accessible and responsive to their needs, pledging to prioritise the welfare and aspirations of the people if elected.
He urged APC members and supporters to remain united, peaceful and committed to ensuring the party's victory in the forthcoming election, expressing confidence that sustained cooperation would deliver success at the polls.
