The All Progressives Congress candidate for Akoko South-West Constituency II in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Niran Olanusi, has felicitated Muslim faithful across the constituency on the occasion of Eid Mawlid, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Olanusi, popularly known as IseOluwa, in a goodwill message, extended his greetings to Muslim constituents, APC members, supporters and residents across Akoko South-West II, Ondo State and Nigeria.
He urged the Muslim faithful to use the occasion to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his virtues of peace, love, tolerance, sacrifice, unity and service to humanity.
The APC candidate described Eid Mawlid as a period for sober reflection and renewed commitment to values that promote peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and development.
He said, “The life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) remain a powerful example for humanity. As we celebrate Eid Mawlid, let us uphold the values of peace, compassion, sacrifice and unity while working together for the progress of our communities, state and nation.”
Olanusi also called on his constituents to pray for peace, stability and prosperity in Nigeria, Ondo State and Akoko South-West II, urging them to remain committed to the development of their communities.
He expressed support for the administration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and President Bola Tinubu, saying collective commitment and unity of purpose remained essential to achieving sustainable development.
The lawmaker hopeful urged the people of Akoko South-West II, irrespective of political or religious affiliation, to continue working together for the progress of the constituency.
Olanusi wished Muslim faithful across the constituency, Ondo State and Nigeria a peaceful, joyous and spiritually rewarding Eid Mawlid celebration.
