The West African Examinations Council has officially published the results of the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination for school candidates.
The council made the announcement on Wednesday via its verified X account, confirming that candidates can now access their performance online.
WAEC advised candidates to first obtain a Personal Identification Number through its official website before proceeding to check their results on the WAEC Direct platform.
In its announcement, the examination body stated that the results had been uploaded and were available for candidates to view after completing the PIN generation process.
The council explained that generating the PIN is a compulsory step for candidates seeking to access their examination results online.
The development follows an earlier postponement of the results, which delayed their release beyond the initial schedule announced by the examination body.
With the results now available, candidates nationwide are expected to begin checking their scores through the designated online portal.
