The Akoko North-East Local Government Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, Engr. Ogbohunekun Adeleke, has congratulated the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, on his appointment as Director of Youth Mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council.
Adeleke described the appointment as a strategic decision that would strengthen the party’s mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a congratulatory message, the City Boy Movement coordinator said Olawande’s experience in youth engagement and grassroots mobilisation made him well suited for the responsibility.
He said the assignment would provide an opportunity to harness the strength of Nigeria’s youth population and channel it towards the APC’s electoral objectives.
“Party leadership could not have chosen a more practical and battle-tested field commander for this assignment. His hands-on approach to youth empowerment and grassroots mobilisation will be valuable to the campaign,” Adeleke stated.
He expressed confidence that Olawande would deploy his experience to strengthen the party’s structures across wards, polling units and local government areas.
Adeleke also commended the minister for his loyalty and commitment to youth development, saying his appointment would further energise young people within the APC ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He urged party supporters and members of the City Boy Movement to support Olawande and work collectively towards securing victory for President Bola Tinubu and the APC at the polls.
“Solidarity forever. Onward to 2027 victory,” Adeleke added.
