Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has voted in the ongoing governorship election, casting his ballot at his polling unit in Ede North Local Government Area.
Adeleke, who is contesting for another term on the platform of the Accord Party, voted at Ward 02, Polling Unit 009, located at Abogunde Compound, Ede.
The governor joined other eligible voters at the polling centre as the election got underway across the state on Saturday.
His appearance at the polling unit came as security operatives maintained a strong presence at various voting locations to ensure a peaceful exercise.
Adeleke is seeking to retain the governorship seat for another four years in a contest featuring several candidates.
Among his major challengers is the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, alongside candidates of other political parties.
The election has attracted significant attention, with voters across the state determining who will lead Osun for the next four years.
