A UK-based Nigerian woman has revealed that she would never relocate permanently to Nigeria, even if offered £15 million, saying the deaths of two of her children from alleged medical negligence changed her life forever.
The woman, who said she is from Ogun State, made the emotional disclosure during a street interview shared on X on Wednesday.

She explained that her decision to remain in the United Kingdom had nothing to do with financial gain, insisting that no amount of money could convince her to return to Nigeria permanently.
During the interview, the presenter repeatedly increased the hypothetical offer from £200,000 to £300,000, £500,000 and eventually £15 million, but she consistently rejected each proposal.
"You can't pay me enough to go back," she said, stressing that her relocation was driven by painful personal experiences rather than economic reasons.
The woman disclosed that she lost two children within two years due to what she described as medical negligence in Nigeria, adding that the experience remains too traumatic to discuss in detail.
According to her, doctors in the UK are often shocked whenever she recounts the circumstances surrounding the deaths of her children, saying they find it difficult to believe such incidents occurred.
She also praised the UK's healthcare system, claiming it saved the life of her son. She said she believes the child might not have survived if he had been born in Nigeria because of the prompt and quality medical attention he received.
While acknowledging that medical errors also occur in the UK, she maintained that such cases are far less common than what she experienced in Nigeria.
