APC Assembly candidate, Niran Olanusi urges hope, unity as Nigeria marks 66th Independence

The All Progressives Congress candidate for Akoko South-West II Constituency, Hon. Niran Olanusi, has urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and united as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.

Olanusi, in a statement issued by his media office on Wednesday, also expressed optimism that October would usher in renewed hope, peace and progress for residents of Akoko South-West II.

He described the October 1 anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices of Nigeria’s founding fathers and the resilience of citizens in building a stronger nation.

The APC candidate congratulated Nigerians on the anniversary, saying the country had made significant progress despite the challenges it had encountered since independence.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Akoko South-West II, I congratulate all Nigerians on the 66th anniversary of our independence. We have come a long way as a nation and we have every reason to remain hopeful for a brighter future,” he said.

Olanusi also extended his New Month greetings to his constituents, praying that October would bring peace, prosperity and improved fortunes to households across the constituency.

He urged residents to sustain unity and support efforts aimed at advancing development in the country, including the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda and the “Our Ease” agenda of the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

He wished Nigerians a peaceful Independence celebration and a fruitful October, while calling for continued commitment to the growth and progress of the nation.
