The founder of Project One Leadership Club and former presidential aspirant, Abisayo Busari-Akinnadeju, has felicitated Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
Busari-Akinnadeju, in a goodwill message marking the anniversary on Thursday, described Independence Day as an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the nation’s journey, appreciate its progress and renew their commitment to building a better country.
She congratulated Nigerians at home and in the diaspora, urging citizens to remain united and committed to the ideals of peace, justice, responsible leadership and national development.
The former presidential aspirant said Nigeria’s diversity should be seen as a strength rather than a source of division, stressing the need for citizens to work together despite their differences.
She also called on leaders at all levels to prioritise the welfare of citizens and create an environment where young people can realise their potential and contribute meaningfully to national development.
According to her, the country’s future depends on the collective efforts of its citizens, particularly the younger generation, to promote accountability, innovation, integrity and service.
Busari-Akinnadeju further urged Nigerians not to lose hope in the country, saying sustained commitment to good leadership, unity and responsible citizenship would contribute to the emergence of a more prosperous nation.
She wished Nigerians a peaceful Independence Day celebration and prayed for greater progress, stability and prosperity for the country.
