The Ondo North Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Jide Ipinsagba, has congratulated Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on the recipient of the National Honours Award of the Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON.
Governor Akeredolu was on Tuesday conferred with National Honour by President Muhammadu Buhari at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, on Tuesday.
Ipinsagba in a statement made available to newsmen said the award was a well-deserved one.
He stated that the award will gear the governor's struggle for a better Nigeria which he had for years been championing.
Furthermore, he said the honor would reinforce Akeredolu's strong belief in Nigeria being the founder of Amotekun.
Ipinsagba commended the governor on his fight against insecurity in Ondo State and the country at large.
