Nigerian passport production crisis resolved in US - FG

The passport production crisis in the United States has been addressed by the Federal Government.

This was made known through a Public Notice posted in the Embassy of Nigeria, Washington DC, noting that all passport applicants scheduled earlier for biometric capturing are expected to come to the Mission on Monday.

It was learnt that the country’s three Missions in the US have resumed passport services.

The public notice revealed that all biometric capturing for applicants scheduled from Monday November 13th to Thursday 16th have been rescheduled.

The notice showed that the capturing have now been refixed from Monday 20th to Wednesday 22nd November, 2023.

“The affected applicants can come to the Embassy on any of the days,” it stated.
