The Delta State chapter of the Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas (HOSTCOM) has paid glowing tribute to former Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, describing him as a steadfast pillar of support, visionary leader, and true friend of oil-producing communities.
In a goodwill message marking Senator Okowa’s 66th birthday, HOSTCOM lauded his invaluable contributions during and after his tenure as governor, noting that his leadership helped the organization achieve major milestones, institutional recognition, and enhanced stability.
Speaking during a media briefing in Warri, the Delta State Chairman of HOSTCOM, Senior Comrade Sunday Ndidi Enujeke, described Senator Okowa as “a father worth celebrating” whose commitment to the development of host communities continues to inspire the group’s mission and progress.

Also speaking, the Secretary of HOSTCOM in Delta State, High Comrade Joseph Lamienghan, praised Okowa’s humility, foresight, and practical engagement with the organization.
