VIPs, industry leaders set for NIPR FCT @35 celebration in Abuja

A distinguished lineup of public officials and captains of industry is billed to grace the 35th anniversary celebration of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Federal Capital Territory Chapter, as preparations reach advanced stages in Abuja.

Expected at the commemorative events are the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Rt. Hon. Zephaniah Jisalo; the Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja; alongside leading figures in corporate Nigeria and notable stakeholders in the nation’s public relations and communications space.

Across the country, PR professionals are gearing up for what has been described as a milestone series of engagements scheduled to run from November 8 to 27.

Activities for the anniversary kicked off with a schools’ essay competition on November 4, setting the tone for an intellectual session held on November 8, where a former Army spokesman led discussions and offered insights into resolving contemporary PR challenges.

An official media chat has been fixed for Monday, November 17, while the grand finale—featuring the Annual General Meeting, professional workshop, dinner and awards will hold on Thursday, November 27.
