A House of Representatives aspirant for Akoko North East and North West Federal Constituency, Hon. Akingbola Akintunde, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christians in the constituency, urging them to reflect on the virtues of love, peace and sacrifice associated with the season.

Akintunde made this known in a statement issued to newsmen, where he described Christmas as a period of gratitude, unity and renewed hope for individuals, families and communities.

The aspirant said the birth of Jesus Christ remains a powerful reminder of humility, selflessness and service to humanity, stressing that these values are essential for meaningful leadership and societal progress.

“I felicitate with our Christian brothers and sisters in Akoko North East and North West on the celebration of Christmas. May this season of joy strengthen our bonds of unity and inspire us to show love and compassion to one another,” Akintunde said.

He assured residents of the constituency that his aspiration to represent them at the National Assembly is anchored on genuine service and inclusive development, promising to place the welfare and interests of the people at the centre of his legislative agenda if elected.

“If given the opportunity to serve, I will prioritise the needs of our people and work tirelessly to attract development that will improve lives across Akoko North East and North West,” he added.

Akintunde also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the constituency and Ondo State at large, while encouraging residents to remain hopeful and united as they look forward to a brighter future.
