OYAT to inaugurate executives, vows massive support for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election in Ondo

The Ondo Youth Alliance for Tinubu has concluded arrangements to inaugurate newly appointed executives across its various directorates as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Director-General of the group, Thalis Olonite Apalowo, disclosed this in a statement issued by the alliance’s media directorate on Monday.

Apalowo said the inauguration forms part of the organisation’s strategic plan to consolidate youth support for the administration and re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

He explained that the newly appointed executives were selected based on their capacity, commitment and dedication to the ideals of progressive governance and youth inclusion championed by the President.

According to him, the exercise will reposition the alliance to deepen its engagement with young people across Ondo State, while promoting political awareness and support for the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda.

Apalowo described the inauguration as a significant milestone for the group, noting that it would expand its organisational structure and strengthen youth participation in the political process.

“The inauguration of these executives represents our readiness to deepen grassroots engagement, expand our structures and ensure that the voices of young people remain central in the political process,” he said.

The OYAT Director-General added that the alliance remained committed to supporting policies and reforms introduced by Tinubu’s administration, particularly those targeted at economic recovery, youth empowerment, education and national development.

He expressed confidence that the growing support base of the alliance across the state would translate into a resounding victory for Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Apalowo also urged the newly appointed executives to see their positions as a call to service and responsibility by mobilising youths and strengthening the alliance’s presence in all local government areas of the state.

“The future of our nation depends largely on the active participation of young people in governance and nation-building. OYAT will continue to serve as a platform for youth engagement, political education and constructive participation in the democratic process,” he added.

He further called on residents of the state, particularly young people, to support and vote for Tinubu in the next presidential election, expressing optimism that the President would secure more than double the votes he received in the state during the 2023 election.

The inauguration ceremony, according to the statement, is expected to attract youth leaders, political stakeholders and supporters of the Tinubu administration from across the state.

The alliance reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity, progressive leadership and sustained support for policies aimedb at securing a prosperous future for Nigerians.
