The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has provided guidelines for candidates participating in the ongoing 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on how to access their results.
The board disclosed that candidates who sat for the examination from the first day can begin checking their results as they are released in batches.
The board’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, had earlier indicated via his official X handle that the initial batch of results would be made available on Friday night.
Over 2.2 million candidates are expected to participate in the nationwide examination scheduled to run for several days.
According to the board, candidates are required to send “UTME RESULT” or “UTMERESULT” in capital letters to either 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
JAMB emphasised that the result request must be sent strictly from the candidate’s registered phone line, noting that using a different number may prevent successful delivery of the result.
Candidates were advised to follow the procedure carefully to avoid errors while accessing their scores.
