2027: Delta HOSTCOM scribe backs Pondi, Oborevwori, Tinubu

The Secretary of Delta State Host Communities Producing Oil and Gas, High Comrade Joseph Lamienghan, has congratulated key political figures in Delta State and across the country over their emergence in the political process ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Lamienghan, a political leader from the Ogulagha Federated Communities, specifically commended Julius Gbabojor Pondi, who represents Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, describing his emergence as a reflection of the confidence and support he enjoys among the people.

In a statement made available to journalists in Warri, Lamienghan said Pondi had continued to distinguish himself through effective representation, grassroots mobilisation and commitment to the welfare of his constituents.

According to him, the lawmaker has remained a strong advocate for the interests of the Niger Delta region at the National Assembly through various empowerment and community development initiatives.

He added that Pondi’s accessibility and dedication to public service had further strengthened his acceptance among the people of Burutu Federal Constituency.

The HOSTCOM secretary also praised the lawmaker for promoting peace, youth empowerment and infrastructural development across the constituency.

Lamienghan equally congratulated Anthony Alapala Ebitonmo, member representing Burutu Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly, describing him as a grassroots politician committed to the development of his constituency.

He noted that Ebitonmo’s emergence reflected the confidence party members and constituents have in his leadership capacity and style of representation.

The Delta political leader further lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for what he described as purposeful leadership and developmental strides across the state.

According to Lamienghan, the governor has continued to promote inclusive governance, infrastructural development and human capital growth, earning widespread support from residents of the state.

He also commended President Bola Tinubu for providing leadership at the national level, noting that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda was aimed at repositioning the country for economic growth and stability.

Lamienghan stated that the emergence of Pondi, Ebitonmo, Oborevwori and Tinubu symbolised political unity, experience and visionary leadership within the ruling party ahead of the 2027 elections.

He said Pondi’s emergence had further strengthened the party’s structure in Burutu Federal Constituency and renewed confidence among supporters in the area.

The HOSTCOM secretary also commended party leaders, stakeholders, women and youths for maintaining peace and unity during the political process.

He urged members of the party and supporters across Delta State and the Niger Delta region to remain united and committed to the collective pursuit of peace, development and progress as preparations for the 2027 general elections intensify.
