The affected aspirants were listed as “not cleared” in the outcome of the APC screening exercise released on Saturday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the party, the screening was carried out by designated committees in compliance with the APC’s guidelines and procedures for the primaries.

The ruling party, however, did not disclose the reasons behind the disqualification of the aspirants.
Meanwhile, Jamila Mani, Special Assistant on Girl Child Education and Development to Governor Dikko Radda, clinched victory in the APC primary for the Mani/Bindawa Federal Constituency in Katsina State.
Elsewhere, the conduct of the House of Representatives direct primaries in parts of Adamawa State was reportedly disrupted following the absence of electoral officials assigned to supervise the exercise.
Party members in Girei, Yola North and Yola South were said to have waited for hours without any official update on the commencement of the primaries.
The APC is currently conducting its primaries as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.
