APC PRIMARY: Police allegedly arrest Ondo Reps aspirant

A House of Representatives aspirant in the Owo/Ose Federal Constituency of Ondo State has reportedly been arrested by policemen said to have arrived from Abuja ahead of the All Progressives Congress primary election scheduled for today.

As reported by SUNSHINETRUTH, the aspirant was allegedly picked up in the early hours of Saturday under circumstances that were still unclear as of the time of filing this report.

The arrest came barely 24 hours after the aspirant reportedly dismissed claims of his disqualification from the race, insisting that he remained eligible to contest in the party’s primary.

Efforts to obtain official confirmation from the police authorities were unsuccessful as of press time.

Details later.
