BREAKING: APM, PDP endorse Daniel Omolola as consensus candidate for Akoko North Federal seat

There was jubilation in Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State, on Thursday as the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) formally endorsed Prince Daniel Omolola as their consensus candidate for the Akoko North Federal Constituency seat.

The endorsement, which took place in the presence of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), party leaders, members and supporters of both political parties, marked a formal consolidation of the alliance ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Leaders of both parties described Omolola as a grassroots politician whose engagement with the people and commitment to community development made him a suitable choice to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.

They expressed confidence that his candidacy would strengthen cooperation between both parties while delivering improved representation and development to the people of Akoko North.

According to the party leaders, the alliance between the APM and PDP was borne out of a shared desire to promote unity, progress and effective leadership in the constituency.

Speaking at the event, Omolola expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of both parties for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to prioritise the welfare and development of his constituents if elected 

He also urged supporters of both parties to remain united and focused, stressing the need for cohesion in order to achieve victory in the coming election.

The event ended on a celebratory note as supporters of both parties applauded the formal endorsement, describing it as a significant step in strengthening the APM–PDP alliance in Akoko North Federal Constituency.
