Popular Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji, and his wife, actress Adebimpe Oyebade, have welcomed a set of triplet boys, sparking excitement across the entertainment industry.
The actor announced the arrival of the newborns on Friday through his verified Instagram page, where he shared a heartfelt message reflecting on the milestone.
Adedimeji, who expressed deep gratitude, described the birth of the children as a life-changing blessing, noting that he had been intentionally private while focusing on his growing family.
“I’ve been quiet… not absent. I was building, protecting, and embracing the greatest blessing of my life. God gave me more than I prayed for — a woman who became a mother of three, and three kings to call my own,” he wrote.
He concluded his message with the phrase “Alhamdulilah,” signifying appreciation to God.
Details surrounding the birth, including the date and names of the triplets, were not disclosed as of the time of filing this report.
The announcement has since attracted a wave of congratulatory messages from colleagues and fans.
Among those who celebrated the couple were actress Mercy Aigbe, who offered gratitude to God, and Omowumi Dada, who described the development as a fitting piece of good news for the new month.
Adedimeji and Oyebade, both notable figures in the Yoruba film industry, tied the knot in 2021.
