The Oyo State Police Command has commenced forensic analysis of a viral video linked to the recent abduction incident in the state as part of efforts to rescue the victims and track down those behind the attack.
The command disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ayanlade Olayinka.
According to the police, the video currently circulating on social media and other platforms is undergoing detailed forensic examination to establish its authenticity and generate useful intelligence for ongoing investigations and rescue operations.
The command stated that security operatives were intensifying intelligence-driven and tactical operations in collaboration with other security agencies to ensure the safe release of all abducted persons.
