2027: Mayowa Adefemi confident of victory, promises new dawn for Ondo North

The African Democratic Congress senatorial candidate for Ondo North, Prince Foluso Mayowa Adefemi, has expressed confidence that the party will secure victory in the district in the 2027 election, promising to transform the area through effective representation.

Adefemi said his confidence was based on what he described as the growing desire among residents for a new political direction and better representation at the National Assembly.

In a statement on Thursday, the ADC candidate said Ondo North had endured years of inadequate attention to infrastructure, economic development and opportunities for its people despite its considerable human and natural resources.

He said the 2027 election would provide voters with an opportunity to change the political narrative and elect a representative committed to advancing the interests of the senatorial district.

“We are confident of victory in 2027 because our people are ready for a new direction. Ondo North has waited long enough for meaningful development and purposeful representation,” Adefemi said.

The candidate said, if elected, he would make attracting federal projects, expanding economic opportunities and securing interventions for communities across the district among his priorities.

Adefemi also promised to operate an open and accountable representation, insisting that the people of Ondo North would have a direct stake in determining the issues he would pursue at the National Assembly.

He urged residents to rally behind the ADC in 2027, saying his emergence would signal the beginning of a new era of development and stronger representation for Ondo North.
