The Ondo North Senatorial Candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Prince Foluso Mayowa Adefemi, has welcomed a former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede, into the ADC.
Adefemi described Jegede’s entry into the party as a significant development that would further strengthen the ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said Jegede’s experience in Ondo State politics and his decision to join the ADC would add value to the party’s efforts to provide a new political direction for the state and the country.
According to him, the ADC is becoming a platform for Nigerians who desire credible leadership, accountability and a departure from the political practices that have hindered development.
Adefemi said the party remained open to politicians, professionals, young people and other stakeholders who shared its commitment to building a better society.
He urged ADC members across Ondo State to work together and ensure that the party’s growing support was translated into effective grassroots mobilisation.
The Ondo North candidate congratulated Jegede on his decision, expressing confidence that his experience and contributions would strengthen the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
Adefemi said the ADC would continue to welcome individuals committed to progressive politics and the development of Ondo State.
