ADC candidate, Adefemi urges Ondo North residents to collect PVC ahead of 2027 elections

The African Democratic Congress senatorial candidate for Ondo North, Prince Foluso Mayowa Adefemi, has urged eligible residents of the district to ensure they collect their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Adefemi made the call in a statement on Wednesday, stressing the importance of active participation in the electoral process and urging residents not to wait until the last minute before securing their voter cards.

He said the PVC remains an important requirement for citizens who intend to exercise their franchise during elections, urging those who had registered but were yet to collect their cards to do so through the appropriate Independent National Electoral Commission channels.

The ADC candidate also encouraged eligible residents who were not yet registered to follow official INEC directives on voter registration and revalidation, while cautioning against multiple registration.

According to him, the 2027 elections provide residents of Ondo North with another opportunity to participate in determining who represents them at the National Assembly.

He urged youths and other eligible voters across the senatorial district to take the electoral process seriously and ensure that they are properly registered and prepared to vote.

Adefemi said voter participation should go beyond political campaigns, stressing that residents must be equipped to make their choices at the polling units when the elections hold.

INEC has scheduled the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections for February 20, 2027, with the commission providing voter-related services through its official platforms.
