Ondo APC chairman directs members to begin door-to-door mobilisation for Tinubu

The Ondo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Kolawole Babatunde, has urged party members to embark on door-to-door mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Babatunde, who gave the directive during a meeting with party members in Ifira Akoko, Akoko South-East Local Government Area, also called for intensified efforts to encourage eligible voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards.

The APC chairman urged members to take the party’s campaign to households across their communities, stressing that sustained grassroots engagement would be crucial to securing victory for Tinubu and other party candidates contesting senatorial, House of Representatives and state House of Assembly seats.

He said every party member had a responsibility to strengthen the APC’s electoral prospects through regular contact with voters and effective communication of the party’s programmes.

Babatunde also emphasised the need to sensitise eligible voters on PVC collection, noting that the participation of registered voters would be vital to the party’s performance in the forthcoming elections.

He said the mobilisation drive was particularly important to achieving the one million votes target set by Ondo State Governor and APC leader, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, adding that the goal required careful planning and coordinated efforts across the state.

According to him, the party must begin by strengthening its structures at the ward and polling unit levels to ensure that its message reaches voters in every community.

Babatunde urged members to remain united and committed to the party’s objectives, reaffirming the Ondo APC’s resolve to mobilise support for Tinubu and other party candidates in the 2027 elections.
