OGO congratulates Aiyedatiwa on primary election victory

Following the successful primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, a notable chieftain of the party, has lauded the victory of His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, describing it as a testament to his unwavering commitment to good governance. Gov. Aiyedatiwa emerged victorious after defeating 15 other aspirants in a keenly contested primary election held on Saturday, the 20th of April, 2024, across the 18 local governments and 203 wards in Ondo State.

Chief Ogundare, a staunch supporter of Gov. Aiyedatiwa, commended the governor for his outstanding performance during his tenure as deputy governor, acting governor, and in his first 100 days as the governor of the state. He emphasized that Aiyedatiwa's popularity and victory are a clear indication of the people's trust and confidence in his leadership abilities.

In his congratulatory message, Chief Ogundare urged all the other aspirants who contested for the APC ticket to rally behind Gov. Aiyedatiwa and support the party's vision. He emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity within the APC, calling on party members to set aside their differences and work together as a cohesive political family towards the success of the party in the forthcoming November 2024 governorship election.
