A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and aspirant for the Akoko South West Constituency II seat in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Niran Olanusi, has unveiled a five-point development agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Olanusi promised to provide purposeful, accountable and people-centred representation if elected, saying the constituency deserves leadership that is accessible and committed to sustainable development.
He said his ambition was driven by a desire to address challenges confronting the constituency through quality legislation, effective oversight and the attraction of government projects.
The APC stalwart identified youth and women empowerment, improved education and healthcare, rehabilitation of rural roads and markets, support for agriculture and community security, as well as the establishment of a constituency office, as key priorities of his agenda.
According to him, his representation would be anchored on transparency, regular engagement with constituents and collaboration aimed at attracting development to communities across the constituency.
Olanusi also pledged to champion policies that would improve the welfare of residents, insisting that leadership should be defined by service delivery, accountability and responsiveness to the needs of the people.
He expressed confidence that his vision would foster inclusive growth and accelerate development in Akoko South West Constituency II if given the mandate in the 2027 elections.
