Akeju Emmanuel 'Piller' surprises Ward 10 constituents, distributes cash, grinding machine, others in Erusu

Hon. Akeju Emmanuel, popularly known as Mr Pillar, has empowered residents of Ward 10 (Erusu/Ikaram) in Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State, as part of efforts to boost grassroots economic activities.

The empowerment programme, which held in Erusu Akoko, his hometown, drew party faithful, community leaders and beneficiaries from different parts of the ward.

The initiative was presented as a move to strengthen unity and sustain grassroots mobilisation ahead of future political engagements.

Addressing attendees, Akeju said the initiative was driven by his commitment to improving the welfare of the people and his continued support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

He also reiterated his support for the political aspirations of Hon. Ife Ehindero and Hon. Fatai Bolaji Atere ahead of the next general elections.

Items distributed included hand dryers, hair clippers, grinding machines and cash support, aimed at helping beneficiaries start or expand small-scale businesses.

Akeju noted that the empowerment scheme was designed to promote self-reliance and economic growth at the grassroots.

Beneficiaries and community stakeholders praised the lawmaker for what they described as a timely and people-focused intervention, while pledging their support for his political ideals and the leaders he backs.

The event concluded with expressions of appreciation and renewed calls for unity, collective development and political solidarity within Ward 10 and the wider Akoko community.
