The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has once again cut its petrol price, marking the third reduction this month.
A check of fuel stations by Daily Post in Abuja on Thursday revealed that NNPCL now sells petrol at N835 per litre, down from the previous N915, representing an N80 drop.
Other major marketers, including MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano, have also adjusted their pump prices in the capital, with rates now ranging between N739 and N865 per litre.
The latest price cuts follow earlier reductions in ex-depot prices by Dangote Refinery and independent depot owners, whose costs now fall between N699 and N800 per litre.
NNPCL had earlier revised its petrol price on December 4 and December 10, 2025, reflecting efforts to align pump prices with supply and market conditions.
The latest adjustment is expected to ease the financial burden on commuters and commercial transport operators.
