The Akoko Political Movement has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Hon. Adetunji Adeyemi as a member of the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency.
The group's President, Hon. Odudu Ayodele Samuel, described the appointment as well-deserved in a statement issued on Thursday.
Samuel said Adeyemi's loyalty, reliability, and proven track record of effective service distinguished him for the position.
He expressed confidence that the appointee would bring dedication, integrity, and excellence to the national assignment.
"We warmly congratulate Hon. Adetunji Adeyemi on this well-deserved appointment by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a Member of the Board of NEMSA," Samuel stated.
"Your loyalty, reliability, and proven record of effective service truly distinguish you. I am confident that you will bring uncommon dedication, integrity, and excellence to this important national assignment."
The Akoko Political Movement leader wished Adeyemi a successful, impactful, and fulfilling tenure on the electricity regulatory board.
NEMSA is responsible for the standardisation, regulation, and enforcement of technical standards in the Nigerian electricity supply industry.
