A pro-All Progressives Congress support group, BTO4PBAT, on Friday took its ward-to-ward mobilisation campaign to Ifon, headquarters of Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, drawing a large turnout of party members and stakeholders.
The event, hosted by the group’s local coordinator, Abayomi Temidayo, attracted APC faithful across the council area, who gathered to reaffirm support for President Bola Tinubu and the party.
Welcoming the delegation, Temidayo commended the increasing grassroots backing for the group, noting that the mobilisation drive was gaining traction across communities in the state.
In his remarks, a stakeholder in the area, Tunde Gbalajobi, expressed confidence in the political direction of the constituency, reiterating support for the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
He stressed that political power in the local government should remain inclusive, adding that no individual or group should claim sole ownership of the political structure.
Speaking at the gathering, the Director-General of BTO4PBAT, Adojutelegan Adesuyi, called on residents and party loyalists to sustain their support for Tinubu ahead of the next general election.
Adesuyi described the group as a structured mobilisation platform aimed at strengthening the APC and ensuring electoral success in 2027.
He attributed recent federal appointments involving indigenes of Ondo State to the level of support recorded for the APC in previous elections, urging party members to build on that momentum.
According to him, the objective is to consolidate the party’s base and secure increased voter turnout in future polls.
The event was attended by several APC leaders and stakeholders in Ose Local Government, including Omolade Bobade, Adelana Henry Ade, Awodeyi Feyisetan, Eni-Olotu Olaniyi, Bose Olajokun, Bosede Awodeyi, Yomi Falana, Augustine Sasere and Olawolu Dayo.
The Ifon visit marks another phase of the group’s statewide outreach as it continues its grassroots engagement across Ondo State.
