The Ondo North Senatorial Candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Prince Foluso Mayowa Adefemi, has welcomed the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to Ondo State.
Atiku is expected in the state on Thursday to attend the official reception for a former Ondo State governorship candidate, Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, and other political leaders joining the ADC.
Adefemi described Atiku’s visit as significant to the party’s activities in the state, saying the reception would provide an opportunity for party members and supporters to demonstrate their commitment to the ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He also expressed his readiness to work with other party leaders and stakeholders to strengthen the ADC’s structure across Ondo North and the state.
Adefemi said the entry of Jegede and other political leaders into the party would further broaden the ADC’s political base in Ondo State.
The ADC candidate said the visit would strengthen engagement among party leaders and members in the state as the party continues to expand its presence ahead of the 2027 elections.
He added that the reception would provide an avenue for party stakeholders to reaffirm their commitment to building a stronger political structure capable of accommodating new members and leaders across the state.
