Perfect your training in your chosen skills, Ogbuogebe advises Corps Members


Corps members deployed to Oyo State for the 2022 Batch ‘ B’ Stream I  orientation course have been advised to perfect their training in whatever SAED skills set they have chosen. Stating that professionalising in such skill or skills would definitely turn them to entrepreneurs.

The State Coordinator NYSC Oyo State Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe gave the advice at the SAED Inter-platoon Competition/Exhibition and Closing Ceremony held at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Iseyin, Oyo State.

She commended the determination and zeal shown by corps members during the In-camp training.She noted that despite the short duration of the training,they were able  to learn alot under the program. 

She further urged them to continue with the mastery of the skills by enrolling in the Post camp SAED training where experienced facilitators would take them on all the nitty-gritty of the chosen skill. 

Ogbuogebe equally informed  the corps members on the need to create multiple source of income. Stating that this can only be achieved if they key into the SAED program.

 ''You can turn your passion into business and break-even economically "- Coordinator said. 

Earlier in her remark, the Assistant Director SAED, Mrs Atinuke Ojo expressed her appreciation to the Management for creating enabling environment for the SAED program to thrive in the State. She also tasked the corps members to take up the SAED program which creates streams of opportunities, noting that they have a lot ahead of them. 

Highlights  of the event was the inspection /exhibition of the finished products of the various skill sets by the Management. While the winners of the Inter - Platoon SAED competition were presented with prizes.
