BTO4PBAT27 wraps up first phase of ward tour across seven Ondo LGAs

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President 2027 (BTO4PBAT27) support group has concluded the first phase of its ward tour in seven local government areas of Ondo State, marking a significant push in its grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The exercise took the group to Okitipupa, Ese-Odo, Irele, Ondo East, Owo, Akoko North East and Ondo West local government areas, where party leaders and stakeholders engaged residents on the need to deepen participation in the All Progressives Congress and sustain support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Throughout the tour, the group emphasised party consolidation at the grassroots, with sensitisation on membership drive, voter registration and sustained political engagement forming the core of discussions with ward leaders and supporters.

As part of the mobilisation drive, funds were donated to the various local government chapters visited to strengthen ward-level activities, boost party registration and intensify awareness on voter enrolment ahead of future polls.

The first phase of the tour culminated in Ondo West Local Government Area, where party members and supporters reaffirmed their readiness to mobilise for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, expressing confidence in his leadership and ongoing economic and institutional reforms.

Organisers noted that the BTO4PBAT27 initiative is sponsored by the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, whose commitment to grassroots political development and party growth, they said, has continued to draw commendation from stakeholders across the state.

Speaking during the tour, the Director-General of the group, Ogbeni Adesuyi Adojutelegan, said Ondo State would record greater infrastructural and socio-economic gains if President Tinubu secures a second term in office. He urged party members to remain united and step up mobilisation efforts at ward and polling unit levels.

Also speaking, the group’s Publicity Secretary expressed appreciation to residents of the seven local government areas for their warm reception and support, calling on them to sustain their backing for the President and the APC.

He added that the second phase of the ward tour would commence shortly as the group intensifies efforts to reach more communities across Ondo State, noting that the initiative forms part of a broader strategy to strengthen party structures and consolidate grassroots support.
